The Meredith Corporation is launching a new magazine by luring subscribers in a setting they're comfortable with -- their own homes.
It's Siempre Mujer! (see-IMP'-preh MOO'-hair), a new Hispanic women's magazine.

Meredith has teamed up with Home Interiors and Gifts, which sells home decorating products in at informal Tuperware-like parties.

There are about 30-thousand Hispanic sales representatives for Home Interiors, roughly 40 percent of its work force. The company has a strong base of Hispanic homeowners as its primary market.

Sales reps for Home Interiors conducted marketing for Meredith and helped sign up subscribers, allowing the company to launch with a rate-base circulation of 350-thousand. That's about double the size of most Spanish language magazines.

The first issue of Siempre Mujer! hits newsstands on Tuesday with beauty, fashion and home decorating tips.
