2005 Dallas Ad Summit

HISPANIC PR The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc. is set to present its 2005 Dallas Ad Summit, December 1 -2, 2005 at the Wyndham Anatole, in Dallas, TX. The focus of the Ad Summit is to highlight the changes taking place in the Hispanic print industry in the U.S. by revealing trends, research, as well as case studies of effective ad campaigns through Hispanic print. With these goals in mind, the NAHP has confirmed top speakers to be presenters and panelists.

Speakers will include Craig Desens, President of Strategic Print Marketing, a division of Newspaper Services of America. He will be the Keynote Speaker for the Business Leadership Luncheon. Mr. Desens will be speaking on the current state of the Hispanic FSI market and the future prospects for this vehicle.

Mr. Juan Tornoe of the Wizard of Ads, Inc. will be a key speaker in presenting key research on the general buying habits of the Hispanic consumer.

Another prominent presentation will be a seminar titled: “Engaging advertisers with Improved Measurement of Hispanic Audiences.” The presentation will be given by Dr. Edward Rincon, President of Rincon & Associates, and an Adjunct Professor at the SMU Cox School of Business. Dr. Rincon will focus on measurement practices that that have limited the growth of Hispanic-targeted publications, and will suggest methods for meeting the information needs of potential advertisers.

Top speakers and presenters like Mr. Desens, Dr. Rincon and Mr. Tornoe are recognized experts in their fields and we are all eager to learn from their findings,” stated Lupita Colmenero, President of the NAHP.

Other seminars with titles such as “Taking Advantage of the Hispanic Newspaper and Magazine Boom,” and “Maximizing Your Print/Web Advertising Strategies” will provide additional depth and coverage of significant issues in the Hispanic print industry today.
